Built at Abingdon in 1932.

History:

No early history known.  First appeared on our register in 1979 owned by Don Shinners in S.A.  Don was a mechanic with a stock of surplus M.G. parts acquired from Motors Ltd in Adelaide.  The car was fitted with a rudimentary body consisting of a bare frame constructed from water pipe and used by Don to compete  at the M.G.C.C. track at Lanac Park.  After D.S. passed away a large clearing auction was held in 1986 (timed to coincide with the M.G.C.C. National Meeting) to disperse his collection of numerous cars including M.G.s as well as the tons of parts.  The register lost contact with this car and it was removed from the register and did not reappear until 2018 in the hands of Peter Bail, in S.A.

It has now been rebuilt with a blown L-type engine and a pointed-tail alloy body.
