Information: Built at Abingdon in 1932 as a four-seat tourer for the home market.

History: F1048 was purchased by Bill Leech in the UK during the 1970s and brought to Melbourne. Bill drove it regularly in a variety of events and found it more comfortable to drive than some of his more exotic vehicles. When Bill died and the estate was finalised MG Workshops arranged the sale of the car to Michael Morrow.

M.M. used the car around the western district of Victoria until 2017 when it was acquired by Neil Anderson from Queensland. Neil commissioned an extensive restoration which was completed in time to attend the Register’s Rally in Yamba in 2019.

F1048 was offered for sale in 2026.
