Past – 16-5-19 Visit to Derby Works

On a fresh Autumn evening approx 30 inquisitive Victorian Fragment members descended on The Derby Works to poke around their workshop.

As the name implies the speciality of this restoration shop is award winning restorations of elderly Bentley and Rolls Royce vehicles.

The is also a strong M.G. connection however as the owner, Simon Elliott is a second-generation M.G. owner and enthusiast who just happened to find a niche for his skills developed when he learned his trade working on products from Crewe.

Simon and his equally enthusiastic off-sider Sean Herlihy were very welcoming and eager to answer any questions from the gathering.
