This annual event was blessed with perfect weather which no doubt helped attract the very large turn out with in excess of 200 M.G.s on display.
The Pre-war Register members responded well to an appeal by the Register committee and run by Andrew Fock running up his phone bill; a record number of 18 pre-war cars ranging from minuscule Ms to a mammoth WA.
First public outings for many a long year for PA1278; Bill Atherton’s speacial wearing the ex-Les Muphy Q-type body and WA0562 “The Mothership” owned by Tony Volders nearing completion of a massive restoration.
Marguerite and George Morgan brought their J2 and C-type and were rewarded with the C taking first in the Pre-war class and first overall in the vintage section and third in class with the J2. Jim Thompson’s M-type took second in the Pre-war class.
