Current owners: Ray and John Abikhair, Vic.
Information: Built at Abingdon and fitted with a Carbodies 2-seat tourer body painted grey and green. Guarantee plate issued 17/4/1930 and dispatched to University Motors, sold to Dr. A. C. Chibnall of Chiswick and registered MG 427.
History: After the good doctor sold the car it has passed through a succession of owners; in the ’30s it was owned by Tom Coleman, known for his work as Chief Draftsman designing steam locomotives including the famed Coronation Class streamliners. More recently it spent many years in the hands of Lord Doune and displayed in his castle/museum in Scotland. When the museum collection was dispersed the car was taken to the Netherlands by Bert van der Lindon and it was from there that Ray Abikhair acquired the car and imported it into Australia. It is now on display at the Museum of the Marque.
