A big thank you to those that responded with the “Keep in Touch – 2024” page in the newsletter, to assist with better communications going forward. Although some of you mention that your names are already in the Register and nothing has changed,
it does assist me to ensure that contact and car details
are as up to date as possible.
Many of us are now looking forward to the MG Pre War Biennial event to be held in Ballarat in November. This will give everyone plenty of time to have cars tuned and ready for the road. I am looking forward to catching up with interstate owners and in many instances putting a face to an email contact.
Change of Ownership
A couple of notifications have come to me, including the purchase of the Donnington Auction advertised L Type, L0595 belonging to the Schofield estate. Just by chance the car has been purchased by a Jason Scholfield, no relation, with the car relocated to Quensland.
Rhys Timms has recently acquired another project, having purchased SA 0818 from the Skewes estate.

For Sale:
For those that aspire to a Pre War TA, you have plenty of choice currently with the following cars advertised for sale,
TA0988, contact Walter Magilton TA 2581, contact Graeme Steinfort
And TA1418, advertised by Collectable Classics in South Australia.
On another subject, more than twelve months ago I advertised in the Newsletter that maybe it was time to do an up to date Register printing. At the time it was considered not appropriate use of register funds, and advised to do a one page addendum of the changes over the 3 year period.
In this instance I am now seeking expressions of interest from you all, to gauge if there is enough interest in a hard copy complete Australian Register to be printed and sold for a nominal price. Let me know of your thoughts.
