History: Early history unknown.

Owned for many years by Bob Schapel in South Australia with intentions to restore.

C.D. purchased the car in 2022 and had it freighted to Victoria.  The car was complete with the exception of the gear box cover and both upper boot lock catches.

Restoration is proceeding slowly including; wheels blasted and powder coated, new front bearings , brakes relined and drums machined, restored water pump, new radiator, new windscreen , new running boards under construction, wheel spinners rechromed.

In 2026 SA 0518 was joined in the garage by SA 1965.
