Current owner:  Jennie and Graeme Jackson, Vic.

MMM No:  774

Information:  Built at Abingdon in 1936 as a 4-seater for the home market and registered BPO 53.

History:  Rebuilt in the UK in the style of a K3.  Imported into Australia by Ross Kelly and used in many Historic Competition events up and down the East Coast until 2017 when he acquired a real K3, K3004.  The NB then lived a quieter life sharing the motor house with the K3.  After a life-changing move from Qld to country Victoria R.K. sold the NB to the M.G. obsessed Jackson family.

Full of enthusiasm new owner Jacko has provided the following update for the record:-

“The quoted engine number 1063 AN was in the car when Ross Kelly imported it 20 years ago, but it had been bravely bored out to 60mm and the side of number one bore collapsed into the water jacket two years later. There being insufficient metal remaining to support sleeves, the 1063 block was scrapped.
The car now has a new block which coincidentally  has the same number as NA 0860’s original engine number 1155 AN, shorthand for 1155 ANother.”
