Information: Built at Abingdon in 1936 as a 4-door saloon.

History: The first record of this car is that it appeared in Mount Waverley in 1963 in the hands of John Drew who, at one stage owned three SAs.  One of J.D.s cars is believed to have been imported by him when he emigrated from the UK.

The car was sold in 1967 in a semi-derelict state, unregistered but running.  The buyer (B.S.) fitted a battery, fresh fuel and number plates off his Y-type, and drove it home.

His young wife did not approve and it was quickly sold to Geoff Graham.  G.G. kept the car for about 20 years without making progress and sold the car to Ray Skewes in the early ’90s.  Ray collected a few parts and was preparing to restore the car however he passed away before work began in earnest.  Purchased from Skewes Estate in 2025 by R.T., becoming the third SA in his collection, however after a number of parts were swapped between this and his other SAs, 0818 was on-sold the Andy Lucena, who now owns two SAs.
